�noori�, if translated literally, means �made out of light�, and it is on this very premise that this band was conceived. �noori� endeavors to communicate a sense of vigor, zeal and a passion for life amongst the younger generation. The music of �noori� is fresh and versatile. It has been created with a clear motive to break the mould of repetitive and formula based approach to music, so commonly followed in Pakistan. Comprising four members; Ali Noor, Ali Hamza, Mohammed Ali Jafri and John Louis Pinto II, a.k.a. Gumby, �noori� through its live performances wishes to establish an energetic rapport with its audience. Though a newcomer in the Pakistani music scene, �noori� aspires to remain consistent and pursue its goals with a far sighted perseverance.
