We promised we'll never let the noori fever die... and we're keeping up to it!!

We proudly present...

THE NOORI PICTURE CONTEST!!!!

What it's all about?

All you have to do is take out your personal collection of noori pictures and upload the best of them in the CONTEST GALLERY.

What are noori pictures?

Well they include any picture where one can see at least one of the current noori members. It is not necessary that this picture is of a performance. It can be any situation e.g. the band on stage, the band with fans, the band back stage, or the band anywhere else or with anyone else - it just simply has to have at least one of the band members from the current noori line-up (i.e. basically Ali Noor and Ali Hamza).

How do we judge the winner?

It's a very simple two-tier process!

First, you judge amongst yourselves:

Once a member has uploaded a picture, we have an in-built option for all users to rank that picture on a scale of 1-10. There is no specific criterion for ranking - just rank it according to your own liking (though we do expect some objectivity on the basis of which the picture is to be ranked!).

So first, the pictures are ranked by the forum members themselves!

Then noori Decides!

Once the pictures have been ranked, Ali Noor and Ali Hamza will then choose a Single Winner from among the Top 10 ranked pictures! They will judge according to their own liking (obviously with as much objectivity as they can).

Then we have a winner!!!!

What does the winner get?

That's a surprize!!! - And it will be out in the open somewhere in the middle of this competition; All we can say for now is that it will be a unique gift - Something that no noori fan has ever won before!!!

So don't wait any longer!!!

IMPORTANT: The duration of this contest is the whole of the Month of August, 2006. Entries uploaded on Septermber 1st, 2006 shall not be entertained!!!

Please read the following additional guidelines to avoid any confusions:

a) A single contestant can upload a Maximum of 5 noori pictures. There is an automated limit on the maximum pictures a user can upload.

b) Each of the 5 uploaded picture is to be treated as a unique entry and ranked as a unique entry.

c) If a picture entered into the contest is an official noori photograph - i.e. one put up on the main noori website - in the gallery, or as clipart, that picture will be removed by the forum administration.

d) Obscene pictures are totally disallowed; uploading them may even lead to a user ban!

e) The forum administration reserves the right to keep/remove any picture in the CONTEST GALLERY. It won't be accountable for explaining the reasons for doing so!

f) This is not a Wallpaper/Graphic Art competition. Pictures uploaded must be original and natural pictures. Forging images or graphic additions/subtractions from a picture will lead to the removal of that picture from the contest.

g) A contestant may, however treat the picture to refine its picture quality and color content. That is only the use of the following imaging tools are allowed: color balancing, brightness/contrast alterations, light levels, grayscale/duotone conversions, curves, hue/saturation adjustements.

i) If multiple contestants put up the same picture, only the first picture will be taken into consideration. All other repeat uploads of a picture shall be deleted from the gallery - even if the treatment of pictures - as mentioned in g - differs in the two pictures, only the first will be selected on the basis of picture content.

j) The maximum resolution allowed for a single picture is 800X600 pixels.

k) The maximum size allowed for a single picture is 128000 bytes (or 128 KB's).

l) Allowed picture formats include .JPG, .PNG and .GIF files only!!

yar apni collection upload karo na dosroo ki kyon kar rahay hay 2 or 3 pics asse hain jo may nay le thien and us par say logo hata kar upload kar di
