The song started off with a catchy drum pattern played over a sequenced loop. It was pure energy and power. The lyrics of the song translate into words what the music conveys. The composition of this song gained its own momentum and almost built itself to what we hear on the album.
The Video
This video is entirely taken from the fateful 21 st June 2003 show which had to be abandoned mid-way due to security and technical reasons. The band was rather disheartened by the whole affair until Wajahat Rauf, the video director, later brought the video footage of the show which he had roughly pieced together. The footage showed promise and the band decided to make a full-fledged edit for Dil Ki Qasam which suited the vastness of the show and the audience. Jafri put together a fast-paced edit and used much of the original audio of the crowd to maintain the live rock show effect.

Shan maine abhi tak nahi sunaya Janurary mein sunaaoongi!..cauz of my nana's death!..tab main Hyd mein thi na isiliye!..so ab main Janurary mein sunaaoongi!..OMG!..humare skool mein Monday ko party hai!!!..waise toh main roz gaati rehti hoon NOORI ke songs!!.. ..& Monday ke baad humaari chutiyaan hoongi!..shukar mujhe thora sa time toh mile ga!..waise meri awaaz bohot be suri hai!!!.. |

set vdo & song hai!!!!!!!!!!..usme Ali Noor was looking sooooo cute!!!!!..i love Dil Ki Kasam!!..pata hai mere skool mein meri teacher ne mujhe kaha tha ke is song ke lyrics likh kar aana!..& main khushi khushi likh rahi thi lyrics!..i luv my teacher!!..she is just 18 yrs old i think!!..humari music class mein teacher ne kaha tha mujhe!..phir maine lyrics diye & ab main skool mein gaoongi!..meri doosri teacher ne kaha tha ke yeh song ab tum yaad karke aana then my friend was like yaad karke aana!?!..isey toh pooore songs moo zabani yaad hain!..us waqt meri teacher hass rahii thii!.. |

Pata hai jab ye gaana IM taaza per chalta tha tab hi mene pehli bar noori ko dekha tha.Aur ye VDO dekh kar hi mujhe noori acha laga. 1st I love the VDO,then song and then noori.Us din se aaj tak main noori ki diwani hun. |
