hey...i got it yesterday.....its really nice..i love itt!!...i mean i love six songs outta 10 and the rest are pretty good too....i think these guyz are really gonna make it big....bechara atif....their album cover is also sooo much better
i went to the music shop 5 times yesterday....the guyz just like "kuyn noori ko bhool gaaiyen" hee wass sooo surprised when i bought 4 cds(not all for myself obviously)..hes just like "chalooo bhai ab too goher keh bhi fans aa gayeh"
guyz goo get it asap...its worth it

I bought the album and surely its better than atif's album...I literally had tears in my eyes when I was listening to "bhikra hoon main"

| yippeee man true jal really rox but i have not bought the album yet it's not yet released in hyd but i m going to khi on wednesday so i'll buy the album then n without listening to the album i m dead sure that it is going to be far more betta then that stupid atif's album cuz i can't bear even one song from his album except for adat |

well Goher's album is really gud
musically really strong and not only his effort, Farhan, Shazi, Xulfi, Salman Albert and Waqar all worked really gud in it!

In the audio cd there are 10 tracks plus 2 Karaokes..Lamhay n Panchi..as a bonus tracks..
All the songs are tooooo gud!
Atif bhai..kya hoga tumhara..gohar aur farhan le gayeeeeee!...
btw...this album n da band called is Aadat...not Jal...bcoz there is a msg on the back side of the cd n i.e.
"We cant use name of Jal musical band because their case is pending in the court of law at this time"

ladies and gentlemen, Im afraid I have bad news..
this album is doomed............
man..allllllll that wait..and this is wat it came down to..grrrr..
farhan has a sweet voice..but his voice doesnt have the punch..even though atif's voice sounds like a fakeer's..he has a boom in his voice that everybody loves..farhan lacks that..
the album's music is totally not jal's..I think this is coz gohar has been hangin out with xulfi (eP's gutarist) a bit too much..thats why that manchala song sounds werid..coz the solo and most of the guitars r ripped off from Tool's song..Schism.. (the solo is a complete chaaapa)..u also find some further tool influences thruout the album..this is Jal..not eP or Call dammit!
I dont see the point of havin three Aadat's in one album..Ik Din Ayega is ok..I'll give it 6/10..Dil Haaray all have heard before..its awesome..Woh lamhay is good but farhan needs to start sounding more manly..he sings too softly..need the kick in ur vocals man..but the instrumental?? wtf??? so the whole damn world can use soundrecorder to record on it..omg..I cant even imagine wat the jal forums will look like wen ppl start uploading their covers..AAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Manchala..same music as Mahi Ve..Panchi..Teri Yaad..have no energy watsoever.. totally lifeless songs..the songs r too mellow..Har jaga hai jal also seems to be heavily influenced by eP/xulfi (the vocal melody to be specific)..
I'd have to say that the best song in this album is Rangoon Mein..This album should have been more like Rangoon Mein..or then they shud have stuck with the DilHaaray sorta music..Farhan shines in RM..this song had it all..good vocals..guitars..drums (great drummin actually)..Im glad Gohar has moved on from the mute-strummin style of playing..the production quality is very nice..Xth Harmonium is picking up I guess..I really like the live drums (probably the best thing in the album)..however in a few songs..the Vocals dint get mixed very well..and at some points..auto-tune is pretty obvious..
Over all..the much awaited album dint bring much to the table..there are other new bands out there that can provide better music..and jal has been around for a while..and specially after a song like Aadat..we expected a whole lot more..somehow a good song makes..and then breaks the band..because the expectations are raised and you cant always live upto them..the album is a good effort but Jal needs more groove..the songs seem very disjointed..broken apart..they need a flow..that is very important for a place where Har Jaga Ho Jal! |

okkk .. so this thread forced me to write about JAL ..
JAL is all about eP .. yes that`z true ..
the drumming in JAL`z album has done by WAQQAR ( eP )
JAL`z Manager ( Khurram bhai , of CALL )
JAL`z vdo director ( XULFI of eP )
and by lissenin to the some of the songs like manchala n all .. looks like xulfi has done some of the work because gohar is so terrified by electric guitar that he never uses ..
in woh lamhay vdo , i compared the guitars of xulfi and goher .. and the one xulfi uses and the one goher had in woh lamhay , both were SAME! the only difference was the color part in the middle .. so maybe he lend the guitar from xulfi .. HAHA ..
and if we compare the fans , the majority is of GALZ .. they just go fore * so called cuteness * of goher n farhan ..

hmm....ep stufff...
maybe correct to sum extent but since i havnt really been straining ma eyes on the guitars so cant tell the difference...
anyhow a bit ep style in jal..i dunt find it so..
ask other ppl's opinions abt it and den we'll find out...
and abt da mizraab part...how do u know mizraab isnt famous among gals? and as far as im concerned i cudnt hazamofy da ddp remix so i havnt developed a likin fer em as yet.. |

umm first let me sort out the mizraab prob ..
mizraab is a metal band .. n ofcourse galz don`t go for metal songs .. they just like * PIYA MORA JIA * songs .. and i`m a member of mizraab forums , n i don`t find much galz there ..
n i didn`t say that jal`z music is like e.P .. but i just said some of the work is done by the members .. infact most of the work! so let`z see what other people has to say about this ..

and as for ep bit..
direction drummin aur managing tu har band ki doosray loag hi kartay hain na..
i agree keh unn ki zindagi mai ep kuch ziadah ho gaya hai laikan dis duznt mean keh unn keh koi effort hi nahin..
vocals, guitar, bass n pata nahin kiya kiya tu inn teenon nay hi kiya hai naa. |

| oh plz shoki stop this ep stuff n see if xulfi,waqar n khurram have done anything for jal then they have also done it for the band call then y r u just pinpointing jal see other bands as well n all the major effect in the album is done by farhan,goher n shazi xulfi just produced their vdos n their album but the work in the album like vocals n guitaring n the lyrics n all the music is only by jal they've done everything in the album n as far as u say abt the looks then u must know that most of the gals go crazy on atif becuz of his looks i know gals go crazy on jal also coz of looks but they dun go completely on looks but their musik as well n what do u think atif has got he's just got good voice that's it look at his music in many of the concerts his band players just make the music worse n u've just sticked to it that farhan has not sung aadat well how come u say that aadat was released before farhan came into the band so we should not blame him look at his other songs like bikhra hoon mein,teri yaad,har jaga hai jal etc they r all awesome n he has sung these songs brilliantly...!!! |
