heyy there was this question in the weekly MAG of 25th sept:
Q.'If u were to be made head of state for the day, wht wud be the 1st thing u wud wanna change?'

I think the first thing i would have to change would be the way people percieve education.i guess i would have to personally look into matters rather than delegate it to my ministers.i would chuk out all those subjects that prevent free thought an dive rise to fixed dogmas.Maybe completely rewrite the syllabus of Pakistan Studies and Islamiyat.Try to give a new maening to the word 'patriotism' and somehow figure out a way that ppl should start seeing beyond their goals and agendas of mere personal survival.I guess that wud be the first step in breaking the sheild of indifference that is turning us into subhumans!
i hope this hasnt been posted be4 but i cheked mujhey too nahin nazar aayah......a lote of others were also asked but the had stupid answeres
I hope hes made head of state atleast well have easier pk studies and islamiat...rite |

history is ratta and geography also who acctually sits and understands it..itna time kahan hoo ta hai......
to undrstand geography it gotta be a shorter and less complicated and history too impossible!!!

well i hav heard ppl dat frm 2005 or 2006 islamiyat wud b removed and frm pak studies history wud b removed
so dats gr8 na
i mean half the tension will b off
but dere is 1 trouble den knw 1 wud knw wat islamiat is coz i persoanlly came 2 knw a loads of things wen i startd 2 study 2 gic the ppr..
well ali noor has nice idea abt studies but is he only going to change studies man...dere's lot more to be changed ghere |

the biggest problem here is illetracy and if thats covered than most of the problems will finnish and i think tahts what he means

well i can only say that how can we forget what our father of the nation did for us
how the ppl sacrificed their lives at that time
we cant even pay them back for what they did to create Palistan for us
so if we cant do anything for our country atleast not forget their efforts
and i agree with minhas
like see the generation of today
how can we join hands with india
we should learn from the history
they have always betrayed us
they cant be trusted
so how can we change the basics in the syllabus
how would the children know whats their basic history and what Islam teaches them
i dont think there should be any change in the syllabus
as these r the basics which every child shd be aware of |
i proudly pass over my crown to FAREEHA Our New Official Queen of the forum
