| yaar ....NOORI kahan hai ??????? eak zamana guzar gaya tht i havnt seen their new vdo on any channel ... tell me one thing ..if they have made 4 album linewise then y the hell is the 2nd album taking so much time ??????and by the way NAYA JAHAN ke vdo toh hai but woh launch kyoun nahi ker rehay hain NOORI loag ???????? ...im desprate to see something new from their side????????AUR KITNA INTEZAAR KERWAIN GAY YEH LOAG ????? |

| Well midah, Noori are currently on a break, and the second album is still under construction. In a recent interview, Ali Noor did mention that the album would come out sometime in Jan-Feb. But any new developments and news will be sure to be announced here first, so keep a watch! |

I've got some answers to this.. I posted this stuff a long time back but well, it was locked and wasn't seen... Anyway, here I go again..
In our recent meeting, I asked Ali bhai about why he's delaying it since this February.. He said they have to make it completely different from the last album, and they were not satisfied with a lot of things, have a few more songs left to compose and get it all right and add more special features..
For now they're taking a REAL break..The break that was announced in summer wasn't exactly a break.. it was to say that due to the polo campaign and album working, they won't be doing many concerts or making some TV appearances like the for polo stuff and 2 GEO (Boltay Sitaray and Applause) appearances they made.
Its been 3 big years for them, what with all the sponsorship and contracts with Jazz, Walls and Polo, all the videos, more than 300 concerts, videos and rest you can imagine (all the Noori hype).. As Black identity pointed out they are on a break now.. Some adjustments being made to the album from time to time and obviously the personal situations and family all the bandmembers have to tend to..Some rethinking is taking place too, and you can tell all that from the Noori journals on the website..
We as fans should really emphasize with them.. No matter how long they're taking this break, we should still hold up since they had been doing all the hard work to win the hearts of us all.. Its not that easy..They just need some time off..in fact a lot of time off..
When I asked Ali bhai if he's really releasing the album after Moharram as he said on FM96, without any delays this time.. He nodded and said maybe even AFTER that.. If he means that, it might be in summers that is.. I'm not sure.. As far as the Naya Jahan video is concerned, its answer was given in last week's newspaper on Instep (I think).. Its not just the right time to release the video as yet..
I think for now Noori's aim is to be out of the scene for a while and keep low profile, then return with a blast.. But you never know, the album release that he stated might've either been a wrong release forecast (it might release earlier, I can't say!).. So anyway, these are the factors contributing to delaying the album release date.. I hope I've clarified some things..and InshAllah.. when they return.. we should be seeing a lot of things we wanted- improvements in live performances, more concerts, more videos and a lot more.. |
