For the first time in my entire life, Eid in dXb [which has been only 3rice] has been good to me! yaaaaay!
What did you guys do on Eid? |

| hm...lets see, first i went for eid namaaz, and wow! the arrangement was great!, we prayed at Marriot,:P, then i went home, made my hair, etc...then went to my aunts for brunch, and the food was YUMMY!!!, yea yummy is the right word to describe that food...and once all the guests had left, my cousins and i exchanged gifts, and there were bags, and wrappers all over,:D:D then all of my cousins, and our whole family went to the studio for pictures, and right now i am at these ppl's house, and i am soooooooo bored, their daughter doest live here, and their sons are on jobs, so i dont know what else to do other than kill time:P:P how was your eid? and yea after this we are going to visit two more families, i am getting tired, and i wanna watch TV!! and i discovered something very interesting about myself this eid, i can put on mehndi with my left hand as well!!!! and its pretty good:D:D:D anyways i'll shut up now, but i am so bored.... |

| tanx anyway for eid wishings...eid ka zara bhi maza nahi aaya we went lesta to ma sis inlaws...udhar sab itna boorin tha...and it was really cold on eid day it was -1c n was all freezed...but still we went for hukka(flavoured sheesha)..i enjoyed their but not tht much jitna main cafe sheesha main enjoy karti thi..karachiiiiiiiiii |

Desert Rose, your Eid sounds quite alright..
Mine was the best Eid I've ever had in Dubai-EVER! =)
On the first day obviously I climbed out of bed with sleep in my eye..reminding myself that it was Eid ki morn and not a date with my math books; I quickly got dressed and then we went for Eid namaaz, it was good, especially the khutba, I'm usually unable to understand even a word of it, because the guy has a very punjabi accent and punjabizes all the urdu and english words..it's so irritating. After that we came home [obviously!] and had Eid treats. There's this family trad of having sheer khurma, it's made in a special way which has been passed down by someone's great great granny..mid-afternoon we left off to meet people..and they were all grown-ups, but sometimes they're fun to watch..most of these people had kids, guys rather..about my age and man they were the funniest..they kept calling their mums for the most ridiculous reasons imaginablE!.I was out the whole day and by the time I came home, I was exhausted and not even sleepy anymore. The 2nd day I went to the capital..scratch that-the ultra-boring capital and we met some unusally lively people..the third day..I was studying..but spent most of my day at a friend's house-no Eid treats there :(

| Famuk your eid sounds like fun to me.....this my my opinon on a good eid, to be anywhere but not at HOME!!!! and i hope the rest of you guys had a fabulous eid as well, and i am sorry if you didnt, try and have a better one next time....and larki i hope you find out about your friend soon, actually my eid isnt over yet, cuz i have a party for "my" friends at my house friday, and oh God i am stressing out..... |
