I am surprise to see the thinking ability of a common Pakistan for leaders like Gandhi. I think its time we see the other side of that great leader, after reading so much crap about him in our text books. Merely because he was a Hindu leader doesnt justify that he was a &%^*^^%*^
And btw, polls wont make any one of the leader No.1 or No.2 They are already heroes in ppl's heart.
what it comes down to (and most probably did) is the india vs. pakistan issue. not that anyone can really be blamed for their personal bias; this is what essentially happened with the "greatest religious leader" poll(s).
anyway, i expected something a bit more quantitative from bbc.
by the way, was there a limit to the number of times one was allowed to vote? i caught the poll a bit late.
