This whole idea of Muslims rapping about the world and how this world is and what it's all about for Muslim youths was originally thought of by "5-7" or spelled out FiVe$eVeN. 5-7 chooses to rhyme and rap under his emcee name of "5-7" because it stands for many things and the most important and main thing being....5 times a day and 7 times a weak
PRAYER!!
5-7 has been writing rhymes since he was in grade 9. He use to write about anything and everything, and then he went to an Islamic Conference in the United States (ISNA) and found out about other Muslims putting their rhymes on track and getting a positive feedback. But that didn't really spark anything in him to start making tracks with his written rhymes. As time went by and as he went through enough of this worlds cold realities, basically as he grew older he started to find much peace in writing those rhymes he use to write just for the heck of it. In the summer of 2004 he decided he'll give rapping a try since he had pages and pages of written rhymes anyways. So he made his first track in one of his friends houses, and it sounded really good. That encouraged him to start writing about Islam and the Harsh realities of this world. As time passed by he kept writing and making tracks on his home computer. Being the only person reping M.A.F.U.A he went on looking for other brothers with the passion of rapping about his religion and a Muslim you the life on these cold streets of North America. He tried twice to form M.A.F.U.A the "MAFUA CLIcK" but both times the so called team he had attempted to form collapsed over many reasons. Depressed and disappointed about what kept happening he kind of laid off the whole rapping thing. But as Allah had intended he came across a producer in Toronto, LELUX of LELUX PRODUCTIONS. Even though LELUX was a non-Muslim 5-7 n LELUX started to make unimaginable tracks with the unique and untouchable style of 5-7 n the production capabilities of LELUX. IN the works is the "ORIGINAL M.A.F.U.A DEMO CD" with original beats from LELUX and new lyrics by 5-7. Insha-Allah as 5-7 himself establishes himself as a truly revolutionary emcee he intends to give forming the "MAFUA CLIcK" once again after he has himself become a strong enough leader.
