noori Walls Brand Ambassadorship concludes

14th March, 2010 was a momentous day for the noori brothers. While Ali Hamza was signing his marriage papers, ‘Jhoom Lay’ went on air and so also commenced noori’s brand ambassadorship for Walls (Cornetto) ice creams.

The song was an instant hit and so was the campaign. The success of the Walls campaign can be gauged simply from the fact that within a month of it’s launch, the new product (i.e. Cornetto Double Chocolate) had sold out countrywide and, in fact, the manufacturers went out of stock, unable to further produce the ice cream. The video was followed by a number of PR activities, Lucky Draw, a Concert and a Special Dinner for the winners of  the Lucky Draw.

And now, that the compaign has come to an end, the band decided to record a studio jam version of the song (one which they perform live at concerts) and share it with their fans.

The sponsors have also been kind enough to send the band a bunch of ‘Jhoom Lay’ packages, each containing a T-shirt, CD of the song, File Cover and a Mug. And, since noori is all about fans, the band has decided to give away these packages through a competition.
