Even before the formation of noori as a band Ali Noor was approached by film producer Sajjad Gul to write a song for an upcoming Pakistani movie. Ali Noor teamed up with Aqeel Rubi who penned down the lyrics according to the visual of the scene in the movie. Even though the film never materialized, this song has become one of the most loved noori tracks.
The Video
The video to this song started off as an exploration of new video editing software and getting to learn how to use it. Mariam Pasha, a friend and the director of the video, urged Ali Noor and Jafri to make this into a full-fledged music video and so was born the first noori video which features Ali Noor alone.
