Dil Ki Qasam
(music & lyrics Ali Noor & Ali Hamza)
(video director Wajahat Rauf)
The song started off with a catchy drum pattern played over a sequenced loop. It was pure energy and power. The lyrics of the song translate into words what the music conveys. The composition of this song gained its own momentum and almost built itself to what we hear on the album.
The Video
This video is entirely taken from the fateful 21 st June 2003 show which had to be abandoned mid-way due to security and technical reasons. The band was rather disheartened by the whole affair until Wajahat Rauf, the video director, later brought the video footage of the show which he had roughly pieced together. The footage showed promise and the band decided to make a full-fledged edit for Dil Ki Qasam which suited the vastness of the show and the audience. Jafri put together a fast-paced edit and used much of the original audio of the crowd to maintain the live rock show effect.

| when i first listen to this one i was like ho hum.. but now as time went by, i like this song so much, specially the guitars in it, but its video really disappointed me! |

| for me it is one of the best songs in da album i really luv the music in it and its lyrics are also gr8 i just cant help but sing along everytime its so upbeat keh ajeeb sa momentum gain kar leta hay insaan......not every1 ofcourse only those who understand noori's music:)......lekin classy song i must say |

this Noori song has the best vdo..I simply luved it...the lyrics, music, drums, guitars, bass everything is super..really gr8 song..
I think this song should have been nominated in the IM Awards... |

the lyrix of this song r sooo catchy n very nice
the music is awesome ... feels great to hear it .
specially the drums n guitars n everything u know.
n the vdo is even not bad...liked it too
the best thing i like bout the song r the lyrics.
