Most people must have already noticed new faces popping up on IM.
Anoushey, Dino, Mani and Faizan have resigned from IM. Basically all those faces that we were familiar with and that were associated with the channel from probably the very start are not there anymore.
And thus, we have all these new VJs popping up. We have these two new females (which in my opinion are pretty pathetic) hosting a new program called Cafe Current. Instead of Anoushey's IM requested, we now have Ayesha Omar's Absolute IM. (Ayesha Omar is a model... and she should stick to modelling!! ... Absolute IM can never be what IM Requested was!)
In my opinion... IM's completely doomed. The channel already lost much of its The few that still DID watch IM were those who were fans of the VJs that just quit. So now that even those people are not there... why o why would anyone watch IM ? (...other than the guys who're Ayesha Omar lovers of course!  ) |

Hmph... I was looking forward to a 'discussion' here, rather than mere one-liners...
Anyway...
isk, apparently the VJs didn't like the way things were going at IM... basically they had a problem with the way things were running there, and so they decided to quit. |

i guess IM requested has been changed into Absolute IM as mentioned by aqida
but however it is going on IM
shouldnt they be just sticking to it
coz it is IM which made them what they r today
as far as new VJs r concerned there should be encouraged along with the old ones

Yea, i noticed that change as well, wohi i was thinking whats up with tehse new VJs.
Well to be honest i am not sure if IM will still be the same without DINO, Faizan, Anoushay, MAni! i mean i am not a big fan of theirs but they were better thn these ppl,i dunno wats up with them, the Cafe Current, well what were they trying to say?seriously, not a single word make sense to me! or may be their joke were too hi for me, were going over my head! that sanam gal, hmmm she wasnt even speaking, she was just standing.as far as i remember she was with BLACK FISH! and man she is spoiling their name! BLACK FISH IS GOOD! and what is she doing [:S] .. i was watching that show, i.e Cafe cuurrrent, and till the end i was unable to understand whats happening [:S], i was seriously lost !
Hope things work out for them, i,e IM, but i doubt it! may be we should give them a chance, may be they'll improve, it was their first show, i.e the new VJs.. may be we'll see improvements in teh future! WHICH I MUST SAY IS BADLY NEEDED! may be......

it was mega confusin...getting out of IM makes me realize how big the world

man...anoushey was soo boring....and so annoying...and talked too much...
that frog was the only good poart of IM requested...i liked his checkered shirt..lol
and anywasy...IM is completely commercialized...way too much for its own good...

i don't like dino and anoushey at all. they try to act like MTV VJs or something, talking like wannabe goreys. they did so corny and gay jokes at the IM Awards. And on IM, they seriously at times arrogantly play their roles like they own the channel.
I believe that commercialism and personal preferences of what ought to be shown have also put a dent on IM. they started off really well, catering to Pakistani music overall. They should go back to their neutrality stance at their inception.
it's sad that they have been replaced by people who look like they wanna emulate dino and anoushey, just like Farhan made the mistake of trying to sing like Atif in some of the songs on Jal's album. And now worse, as xpressionless said, dino n anoushey will be leaving to Aag. that brings my joy down when i heard that GEO was getting a music channel. I hate these bugs infecting the pakistani music channels.
oh, i'm not talking constructive trash against Faizan and Mani cuz they at least are a bit bearable than Dino and Anoushey. |

| why can't DJs just be serious about their jobs, not present themselves as ppl they aren't and just get the job done. they don't have to act all different and hence making a fool of themselves. wish they would just come on TV, tell the constrcutive news and wassapening and then just leave us with the music videos/concert videos/interviews. |

Although I don't get IM here in Dxb, Im still upset about hearing this because when I return to Pk for me hols, there won't be any IM! Not the IM we all knew, not the one with Anoushey [even if she did crack some really irrelevant jokes!], not the one with Faizan [one of me fav hosts], Dino and all. These people were the real essence of IM..I wonder how IM's even working without these great minds! Maybe people like ANoushey and the rest deserve better places to work, they were really good, and IM was practically 'known' for them..How many times have you brought up the topic 'Anoushey' without a mention of IM?
It's true that of late IM had changed and didn't radiate the same energy and enthusiasm it did sometime around last year..maybe it was them [Anoushey, dino and the rest] knowing that they were leaving, and perhaps that's what prevented them from performing their very best. I agree with ghoom that their personal preferences DID put a dent on IM.

these guyz have been there since the first time i watched IM.....i mean there has too be a proper reason behind this they cant jus leave im coz they didnt liek the way it was working...if they didnt then they shud have tried fixin it and suubb saath too na choortay...
