ok that is really shocking news!
I don't think IM would be the same widout its VJ's..the new VJ's will take a lot of time to settle in..n the viewer's will take a lot of time to accept the new faces..it won't be eazy! the 4 of them were the most xperienced VJ's around and i guess widout them IM will definitely lose its charm... |

almost every teen ager used to sit infort of tv to watch dino mani and anoushey!
and ab toh woh bhi nahi hein i dunno wat will happen to IM
the viewers who used to watch im fer these vjz will now watch the muzik cuz mein ney sunna hai key yeh sub ab the musik per ayein!

Love them, hate them or display a particular brand of indifference, there's no denying that the aformentioned VJs have a certain charisma that translated across the screen well, hence their popularity amonst the young set in Pakistan. I suppose it's about time Pakistani youngsters got some form of role models on the 'idiot box' (I call it that with great affection, no reflection on the people under discussion) that are Pakistani, instead of having to sigh enviously at the MTV India crop of VJs. Mind you, I think, within their limited functionalities, the VJs in question do a really good job of 'entertaining' the masses. Kids tune in to admire these people because they have something that they want to emulate: confidence, success and the personality to pull off their own shows. Believe it or not, kids need these people to be role models for them. Anoushey, I believe, is underrated since she shows young girls that whether or not they or their families approve of it or want to follow it, the choice is there to be something other than the average pre-Anoushey females on TV with dupattas securely pinned to the rear half of their heads or the women who dress in a shalwaar kameez because it's appropriate to wear it on TV, whether or not they wear the same if given the choice. Dino and Faizan, I think, set a standard for young men to follow: to be articulate and (for the most part) make intelligent conversation and be at ease in your own skin. Mani does the same for a different section of males, which is why I think all of these people are important for society and pioneers in their own way. And no, IM (nor any other channel these people would be joining) has not paid me for this. In fact, I'm surprising myself with all this.
Now coming to the point, I doubt these individuals will have any problems coming to an agreement with any other leading music channel, and being back on the screens soon. IM, having found a good thing, should have kept them at all costs. Now, I do think time will prove to them what a mistake it was to let go of people it spent so much airtime and money on making familiar faces in homes across Pakistan. IM's standard has been dropping for a while now, and this may well be its death knoll, but that's just my own view.

yaa totally they wont havee problem...
even tho IMs standard has benn falling it was the most watched pakistani music channel if not pakistani channel....i mean how many of us watched the musik?? personally i cant stand their vjs...they really suk they r even worse than ayesha omer ect...even thoo all we got to see was raheem shah ect i think every1 tuned in at abt 9 to watch im requested and the following shows...
when anoushey first came i remember noo one cud stand her...her voice her way of talking ect...some ppl thought she over acted but then as time passed we got used to her and she finally became the best vj pakistan has eva produced!
as i said in my pervious post anoushey(who appeared exclusively on IM) has already started appearing on tv( geo)
it wudnt have been a problem fer mani and dinoo..manii coming on every pakistani channel possible and dino having his music career as well as being on radio hardly need any publicity

a few dayz back i was watching cafe current and anisa was saying key
mein jab inter mein thi mein itni cheating kerti thi ek dafa mein cheatin ker rehi thi book saamney thi and i was copyin answetr from there my teacher came and she asked me yeh kya hai.. and i was just lookin at her wth a black face lol!
itna proudly bata rehi thi! ...i hate them both! i wish anoushey wapus aa jaye ! ... and ayesha omer she came on star connections as a guest and there she told key usska album aa raha hai!
